SOUTHBRIDGE – Racheal A. (Kaczmarek) Kuszewski, 71, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in Southbridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center with family at her side.
She leaves a son, David S. Kaczmarek, with whom she lived; a daughter, Lori A. Kuszewski of North Grosvenordale, CT; a sister, Alice McDonald of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster on March 10, 1952, the daughter of Raymond O. and Alice M. (Kuzava) Kaczmarek and graduated from Bartlett High School
in 1970 where she belonged to the National Honor Society. She lived in Webster and Dudley before moving to Southbridge in 1995.
She was the supervisor of the shoe department at the former King’s Department Store in Dudley for several years. She also worked in the produce department at the former Stop & Shop in Sturbridge before retiring.
Racheal was fond of cats, especially Patches. She loved dancing, shopping and music.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
