Obituary

Joseph M Warren also known as “Brother", passed away on January 12, 2024. Joe was raised in Jamaica Plain/ Mission Hill and resided in Roslindale, Joe was a tradesman, working for Clear Channel, formerly Ackerley Advertising formerly Donnelly Signs, Joe was member of American Legion Post #76 in Jamaica Plain, in 2003 was voted in as commander. Joe was charitable, and often made donations to wounded Vets. Joe served as Treasurer for Local 391 painters union & allied trades, was a well respected delegate. Receiving a life time membership. Joe was an avid candlepin bowler, spending a couple of nights a week competing at Ron’s Bowling Alley in Hyde Park. Husband of the late Lorraine (Desmarais) Warren. Father of Joseph R. Warren, Marie Warren, Linda Warren and James Warren. Brother of James Warren and the late Cookie Spellman. Son of the late Joseph & Mamie (Gracie) Warren. Grandfather of Luke Bachelder , Summer Bachelder, Matthew Dohms, Linda Warren, Zaneera Warren, Roberta Barry, Lorraine and Seleste Davis. Uncle of Suzie Cieri, Diane Owens, Jerry Veglia, Michael, Warren, Kathy Warren and the late JoJo Veglia. Brother-in-law of Barbara and Bob Bachelder and Sharon Warren. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Wednesday January 17 from 3-7 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 18 at 10 am. Interment will then follow at Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. Late US Army Airforce Veteran.
