Lorna Estelle Vallee Mello, 84, of Fall River, MA, passed away at St. Anne’s Hospital on Tuesday January 2, 2024 after a long illness. She was the wife of
Henry (Butch) Mello for 40 years.
Lorna was born in Fall River,MA on July 9, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Alphonse
Guilmette and Louise (Vallee) Guilmette.
Mrs. Mello attended Fall River public schools and was employed as a waitress at several
local Chinese restaurants prior to her retirement. Lorna enjoyed dancing, playing cards and spending time with her family.
She was formerly married to the late James A Medeiros. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Denise Conroy and her sisters Jeanne Dube Belanger and Nancy Manchester.
In addition to her husband Butch, she is survived by her eight children.

Lorna also leaves 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral arrangements are under the care of Casper Funeral and Cremation services. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
