Obituary




Augustina E. Coppola (Olga), of Medford, a woman of resilience, strength and immeasurable love passed away on December 29th, 2023.

Born on August 24, 1923 in Boston Massachusetts, Olga was the devoted daughter of the late Michelangelo and Elvira (Trangese) DeFalco, and beloved wife of the late John D. Coppola. Devoted mother of Michele Trigilio and her husband Thomas of Londonderry NH, John Coppola of Henderson Nevada, and Patrick Coppola and his wife Denise of Stoneham. Loving Grandmother of Kimberly Trigilio and her husband Kevin Keene, Kristen Pelletier and her husband Shane, Cristina Coppola, Briana Islamaj and her husband Naziold and Michelangelo Coppola. Great Grandmother of Thomas and Michael Keene, Kayla and Alaina Pelletier and Ren and Naz Islamaj. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Sister of the late Louisa Casiello and her husband Samuel, Charles De Falco and his wife Mary, Anthony DeFalco and his wife Natalie, Josephine Palumbo and her husband Benjamin, John DeFalco and his wife Esther, Nicholas DeFalco and Andrew DeFalco and his wife Joann.

Olga was a homemaker and a tender caregiver. She loved her family above all else. A deeply religious woman, she found joy spending time with family and friends, cooking and sharing recipes, reading novels and listening to music.

Olga will be remembered as the grand matriarch of a large extended family, a woman full of life and vitality through the end of her days, and a woman who taught her family by example how to love. Her vibrant spirit will live on through the memories and lessons she imparted to her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit on Thursday, January 4th from 9-11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford. Services will conclude with Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
