Obituary

Gordon Norman White, 76, of Medway died peacefully on December 28th surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lorry M. (Simonds) White for the past 39 years.

Born in Lowell, March 2, 1947, the son of the late Norman P. and Virginia (Coulam) White, Gordon was a lifelong Medway resident.

Gordon was a 1965 graduate of Medway High School.

He owned and operated Gordon White Auto Supply for many years.

Gordon was a Constable for the Town of Medway and served on the Medway Memorial Day Committee.

He loved traveling and antique cars, especially his Corvette and 1955 Chevy.

Each morning he enjoyed spending time with his friends at coffee club.

He was an active member of the Medway VFW and proudly served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Erica McCormick and her husband Shawn of Marshfield, Kevin White and his significant other Monica Wolinski of Easton, Pennsylvania, and Kerri White and her wife Kathy of Hampton, Virginia.

Gordon is also survived by his sisters, Judy Ferioli of Bristol, Rhode Island and Joan White of Melbourne, Florida, as well as his grandchildren, Brendon White, Mia and Matthew McCormick, Gavin Brunetti, and Jadyn and Shea Tatum. Additionally, his close loving extended family and wonderful friends.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4th at the Medway Village Church, 170 Village Street, Medway at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak Street, Medway.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, January 3rd from 4-7 p.m. at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 3 Barber Street, Medway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306.
