Barbara M. Haas, of Medford, December 29th. Beloved wife of the late Ronald R. Haas. Mother of Patricia Haas and her husband Gary Haffke of Medford, Christopher Haas of Medford, Brian Haas and his wife Maureen of North Reading, Janice Gibbons and her husband Mark of Woburn, Cathleen Johnson and her husband Kevin of Jaffrey, NH and the late Ronald R. Haas, Jr. Grandmother of Mary, Sean, Christopher, Brian and Devon. Sister of the late Patricia Moreau and Joseph Ballway. Barbara has been a lifelong resident of Medford. She is a graduate of St. James Grammar School in Medford and Girls Catholic High School in Malden. For over 40 years she worked registering patients at the Malden Hospital. She was an avid bowler and spent many summers with her family at the Wabanaki Campground at Lake Ossipee in New Hampshire. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday January 3rd at 10 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Mass on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.
