Lillian O. Meunier, 71, of Chestnut Hill Road, Chepachet, RI , passed away after a short illness on December 22, 2023 in The Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.
She was born and raised in Berlin, NH, and the daughter of the late Conrad W. and Judith M. (Veilleux) Meunier. She had been living in Chepachet, RI for the past 9 years, previously living in Manchester, NH most of her adult life.
Lillian had been a Housekeeper with Health Care Services Group of Bedford, NH for 10 years before retiring and moving to Rhode island. Before her illness, she loved to walk all over the village making many friends. Lillian was also an avid reader, and was a regular visitor at the Glocester Manton Public Library. She also always loved traveling with her sisters and looked forward to day trips, and shopping sprees.
She was the eldest sibling, and leaves four sisters and a brother:
Lorraine Giardi and her husband Richard of Falmouth, MA, Noella Peacos and her husband Fred of Glocester, RI, Lucy Fontaine and her husband Emile of East Providence, RI, Diane Labrecque and her husband Paul of Berlin, NH and Leo Meunier of Berlin, NH. She was the Aunt of Paul J. Labrecque of Manchester, NH, Shelly Corrigan of Gorham, NH, Jessica Rodman of Woonsocket and Devin Meunier of Berlin, NH and grandnephews, Gavin Corrigan of Warwick, RI, Ayden and Ethan Corrigan of Gorham, NH. She was the aunt of the late Jennifer Sarah McKay.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her memory on Saturday, February 10th at 11am at St. Eugene’s RC Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI.
