WORCESTER____Shirley I. Dupont, 60, of 86 Austin St., died Monday August 19 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 119 Belmont St.
She leaves four brothers, William and Terry Dupont both of Worcester; Gerald Dupont of Avon, New York and Ronald Dupont of Leominster; two sisters, Patricia Bentley in Alabama and Margo Remillard of Worcester; and a very close friend and caregiver Peggy O’Donnell of Worcester and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Taunton, daughter of James G. and Gertrude A. (Gauthier) Dupont and had lived in Worcester since 1954.
Ms. Dupont was graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade High School
The funeral will be held on Thursday August 22, from Dirsa-Morin Fuuneral Home, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pauls Cathedral, 15 Chatham St. Burial will be private. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday August 22 in the funeral home.
