Obituary

Angelo Antidormi of Medford passed away on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023. He was 75 years old. Angelo grew up in Prezza, Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 13 in 1962 with his father Giuseppe, mother Assunta and brother Nunzio. They settled in the North End of Boston where he lived until marrying the love of his life, Kathleen "Kathy" Antidormi in 1974. They went on to settle in Medford where he would live the rest of his life.

Angelo was an incredible husband, father and "grandpa" to his two granddaughters, Tessa and Kaylee Antidormi, who became his pride and joy. He was also the epitome of the American Dream, coming to the United States with little and working hard to own a home and several successful restaurants: Florentina Restaurant in Kendall Square, Cambridge, and Trattoria Ottimo in Boston's Financial District. Both his food and genuine hospitality were popular with his many customers. Outside of his family and culinary career, he enjoyed cooking at home, reading, hunting, winemaking, gardening, watching sports, and spending time with friends. He maintained a strong connection to his Italian homeland throughout his life while also being a proud American.

Angelo was the beloved husband of Kathy (Walker) Antidormi of Medford. He was the devoted father of Angelo Antidormi and his wife Aimee (Rioux) Antidormi of Peabody and loving grandfather of their daughters Tessa and Kaylee Antidormi. He was the devoted son of his late father Giuseppe Antidormi, late mother Assunta (Giovannucci) Antidormi and brother of Nunzio Antidormi and his wife Connie of Lynnfield. Angelo was the loving son-in-law of the late Phyllis Walker and brother-in-law of the late Michael Walker and his wife Nancy of Pelham, NH, Janice Nugent of Winthrop, the late Ronnie Walker and his late wife Sandy of Nashua, NH, Kenny Walker and his wife Elaine of Atkinson, NH, Christine (Walker) Severino and her husband Ralph of Wake Forest, NC, Linda (Walker) Foley and her husband Tim of Woonsocket, RI, and Sharon (Walker) Costigan and her husband Jim of Middleton. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
