George R. Lamarche (also lovingly known as Jorge, Denny and Papa), 76, of Londonderry, NH passed away Saturday December 23, 2023 in the comfort of his own home. George was born in Westfield, VT on March 10, 1947, a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Bonneau) Lamarche. He had been a resident of Londonderry since 1994, formerly of Stoneham, MA. George proudly served with the United States Marine Corps from 1965-1971 with a tour in Vietnam. George loved all New England sports, especially the Red Sox. George also loved his dog, Penny.
George is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elaine (Peach) Lamarche of Londonderry, two daughters, Michelle Brutus of Londonderry and her husband Ralph, Nicole Pooler of Hopkinton, NH and her husband Alexander, one son, Michael Lamarche of Manchester, NH and his wife Melissa, eight grandchildren Katlyn, Amanda, Olivia, Morgan, Matthew, Camden, Nathan and Emerson, three great-grandchildren Ronan, Bailey and Collins, two sisters, Patricia Wolfe of Hudson, NH, and Jeannine Muir of Fairfax, VT, and one brother, Richard Lamarche of Milton, VT.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
