He was a Fall River resident for 40 years. Before retiring, he was a Machine Operator at Plymouth Rubber in Canton for 38 years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St.Michael Church. He was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Besides his wife of Fall River, he is survived by Two Sons: Edward Camara of Attleboro, MA and Manny Camara of Fall River, MA. Five Daughters: Natasha Marques of No. Dartmouth, MA, Christina Camara of Cambridge, Maine, Nancy Garrity of Westport, MA, Andrea Camara of Fall River, MA and Amanda Camara of Fall River, MA. One Brother: John Mateus of Fall River, MA. Two Sisters: Maria Da Conceicao M.C.Silva of Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores & Maria Jose Silva of Fall River, MA. Seven Grandchildren and Many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home,1521 N. Main St., Thursday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 9:00 AM. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 6-9 P.M.
