Obituary

Thomas C. Cooke, age 55, of Dracut, formerly of Winchester, passed away on December 16, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Heidi (Lisacki) Cooke.

Born in Winchester, he was the son of Pauline (Nixon) Cooke and the late Gary Cooke, Sr.

Tom was raised and educated in Winchester and attended Winchester High School. He was employed with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office for over 27 years, most notably in transportation.

In his spare time, he enjoyed endless boat rides, pool days, fires on the deck, camping trips at Duck Puddle Campground, and vacations in Florida and on the Cape. A music-lover, Tom enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, and loved rocking out with his son to classic bands like Zeppelin and Sabbath. He also loved golfing and watching football, especially while tracking his fantasy teams. He had an analytic mind and could often be found tinkering with new technology and working on his Jeep. He and Heidi made time for date nights at Castle Island to watch the planes go by. They also enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends. Known for his great sense of humor, he will always be remembered for making people laugh.

In addition to his wife, Heidi and his mother, Pauline, Tom is lovingly survived by his children: Kayla (Cooke) Lundbohm and her husband Kevin, of Nashua, NH, Craig Cooke and his wife Elizabeth of Derry, NH. His brothers Gary Cooke, Jr., of Epsom, NH and Robert “Bob” Cooke of Texas, further survive him. He was beloved by his aunts, uncles and cousins, Papa to Luke Thomas Lundbohm, cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and brother-in-law of Heidi’s many siblings and their spouses.
