Obituary

Robert R. Cloutier, 76, of Bedford died July 2, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare Northwood Nursing in Bedford after long illness.

Born in Berlin on March 12, 1930, he was the son of Leon and Zelia (Pouliot) Cloutier. He lived in Bedford many years and earned a degree in business from Hesser College.

He was a member of the Army National Guard for more than 25 years.

Mr. Cloutier was an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Company for over 30 years.

He enjoyed time at his summer camp at Lake Winnesquam and fly fishing for salmon on the Miriamchi River in New Brunswick. He was a member of the Atlantic Salmon Association.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ann Cloutier in 1995.

The family includes his wife of 47 years, Carolyn (Straight) Cloutier of Bedford; two children, Donna Laforge of Manchester and Robert J. Cloutier of Allenstown; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Wednesday July 5, 2006 in the funeral home. After cremation, burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
