O’Neil, Dorothy Masciarelli was a lifetime resident of Dedham passed away on December 12, 2023. Dorothy was the wife of the late Donald O’Neil Sr. She was the mother of Donna Rando and her husband Joe of Dedham, Debbie Smith and her husband Bob of Dedham, Diane Iadonisi and her husband Bob of E. Sandwich, Denice Higley and her husband Ray of Dedham, Doreen Lessard and her husband Jack of E. Sandwich, Donald O’Neil Jr. and his partner Bob O’Keefe of Winchendon. Loving grandmother of Julie Ryan, Mark Rando, Kerry Smith, Craig Smith, Danielle Whitney, Greg Iadonisi, Michael Higley, Jacqueline Higley, John Lessard, Garrett Lessard, Stephen Lessard, Gio O’Keefe, Santino O’Keefe and 11 great-grandchildren.
Dottie’s greatest loves were her family and her 2nd home in Meredith, NH. The O’Neil family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the staff at Laurentide in Mashpee for their excellent, loving and compassionate care of Dottie.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham, on Wednesday, December 20, at 9:30am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
