Maureen (Dacko) Phelan passed away on December 7, 2023 after a brief period of declining health. The daughter of the late Ronald P. and Ruth J. (Lewis) Dacko, Maureen was born in Brookline on September 1, 1959. A life long resident of Franklin, Maureen graduated from Franklin High School in 1977.
Maureen was a dedicated mother and enjoyed being involved in her daughters' many activities as they were growing up. She is survived by her daughters Catherine Phelan of South Boston and Jessica and Elizabeth Phelan of Wrentham. She was the sister of Paul Dacko of California, Charlene Dacko and Christine Cogliano of Bellingham and Pauline Dacko of Norton. She was the sister of the late Albert, Kenneth and Kathleen Dacko and the former wife of the late Wayne Phelan who passed away in October.
She is also survived by her granddaughter Layla Lueth as well as many nieces and nephews.
At Maureen's request services will be private.
