Catherine T. Cahill, 75 of Goffstown, NH, died Saturday, July 1, 2006 in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. Mrs. Cahill was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Quinn) McGinn. She was a resident of Goffstown for 19 years, formerly living in Derry, NH for many years. She had been employed by the IRS in Andover, MA until her retirement. Mrs. Cahill greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by four daughters, Catherine Fitzgerald of Londonderry, NH, Janet Kimball of Candia, NH, Cheryl Clements of Belmont, NH, Mary Brodeur of Derry, nine grandchildren, a brother, John McGinn of Philadelphia, three sisters, Marge Friel of Atlanta, GA, Ann McGinn of Philadelphia, Mary D'Aquila of New Jersey, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 5 – 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, July 7th at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
