Obituary

Ann Christine Natalie, of Roslindale, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore A. Natalie, Sr. Loving mother of Salvatore A. Natalie, Jr. and his wife Anna of Dedham, Richard T. Natale and his wife Julianne of Stoughton, and Lisa A. Natalie of Roslindale. Loving grandmother of Ricky Mejia and Melvin Jones, Jr. and his girlfriend Kayleen, as well as great-grandmother to Jordan. She was the devoted daughter of Antonio and Josephine Falanga. She is survived by her sister-in-law Carole Falanga of Lemont, IL. She is predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Falanga and his wife Cece, Anthony Falanga, and Edward Falanga and his wife Elizabeth (Betty) as well as her sister Norma Addonizio and her husband Albert. She is also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Thomas Natale and his wife Anna (Doyle) and Frank Natale, as well as a sisters-in-law Antonetta (Etta) DiPlacido and her husband Peter, Margaret Amato and her husband Henry, Elena (Helen) Rose and her husband Edward, and Angelina (Ann) and her husband Stephen Cesso. Ann is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews and many faithful friends.

Ann worked for many years as a paraprofessional for the Boston Public Schools - working with multiple handicapped and autistic children. She loved working with her special needs students and they loved her. Ann was a long term parishioner at Sacred Heart Church. She was a former Eucharistic minister as well as a member of the Ladies Sodality and Italian Society. Ann also enjoyed social activities and was a member of many clubs. She was an officer and member of the Sgt. Guido Petrilli Lodge #1606 Order Sons and Daughters of Italy, Roslindale. She was also a member of the Villagers, the Go-go’s, VFW Seniors, and Holy Name Retirees. Ann was also involved with the MSPCC Connections Grandparents Group, ARC Grandparents, and the Garrett Pressley Autism Resource Center (GPARC). Family and friends are invited to attend viewing hours on Monday December 4, 2023 from 3-7 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, Ma. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, Ma. Burial is in St. Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, MA.
