...former Tewksbury resident; 70
HUDSON, NH - Christine M. (Cicero) Bowser, age 70, a former resident of Tewksbury, MA,
died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, June 29, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, from an apparent heart attack. She was the wife
of George R. Bowser, who died in 1996.
She was born in Boston, on October 12, 1935, one of eighteen children of Joseph and Lillian (Sweatka) Cicero. She was raised in Brighton, MA, and lived in Tewksbury from 1978 until 2001, when she moved
to Hudson, NH.
Mrs. Bowser enjoyed bowling and bingo, and was described by her children as having devoted her
life to her family.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Robert Ligon of Danbury, NH,
Doreen and Frank Tremblay of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a son-in-law, John Monahan of Tewksbury; a
brother, Kenneth Cicero and his wife Phyllis of Tewksbury; a sister Alice DeCosta of Hudson,
NH; six grandchildren, Wendy Killam of Tilton, NH, Angela Manly of New London, NH, Kevin
Monahan and Megan Monahan both of Tewksbury, Tanya Tremblay and Tiffany Tremblay both of
Ft. Lauderdale; one great granddaughter, Dehlia Perry; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Deborah Monahan.

Her funeral was held Friday, July 7, in the funeral home. Following cremation, interment will be
in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA. Memorials to the NHSPCA, Exec.
Dir., P.O. Box 196 Stratham, NH 03885, will be appreciated.
