Robert F. Carroll

TEWKSBURY - Robert F. Carroll, age 78, a resident of Tewksbury for more than four decades,
died Wednesday, June 28, at the Spring Hill, Florida, home of his daughter, after a courageous
year long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Lenore F. (Leonard) Carroll, who died
March 1, 1995.
He was born in West Roxbury, on July 18, 1927, the son of the late George and Rita Carroll, and was raised in West Roxbury. He lived in
Billerica before moving to Tewksbury in 1963.
During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy, assigned to the Pacific Fleet.
He worked at the warehouse for Purity Supreme in Billerica, where he held membership in the
Teamsters Union.
Since retirement, he had enjoyed leisure time at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Dianne Blanchette, Nancy Massicotte and her
husband Richard all of Fla; two sons, Daniel Carroll of Fla, and Ronald J. Carroll of Tewksbury;
and three grandchildren, Ronald D. Yost, Jasmine Carroll and Joleen Carroll all of Tewksbury.
He was also father of the late Robert F. Carroll, and father-in-law of the late Roger Blanchette.
His Funeral Service was held Thursday, July 6, in the funeral home. Burial with Navy Honors was held at Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen
