Obituary

SNELL, Kelley A (Smith) A lifelong resident of Somerville MA, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 11, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Cancer.

Born in Boston on August 1, 1961, she was the beloved wife of James Snell and cherished mother of April Snell of Medford, Ashlee Brockman Cruz of Somerville, Alex Snell of Peabody, and Paul Mercauto of Rochester New York, Nonnie to Alonzo, Vance and Isiah of Somerville Ma, and Brianna, Jaquelynn, Jason, Paul, and Jazmine of Rochester, NY, and Zachary of Ocala, FL. Kelley was the devoted daughter of Emmet (Frank) and Elizabeth Smith of Somerville, Sister to Elizabeth (Smith) Roche of Medford, Thomas Smith of Reading, and Diane Smith of Medford. Kelley is predeceased by brothers Emmet Smith, and Barry Smith of Somerville, and Bert Taylor of Woburn, and sister Barbara (Smith) Hennelly of Somerville. She is survived by many loving Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who will miss her dearly. Throughout her long fight, Kelley had incredible will and maintained a positive attitude. She was loved beyond measure and will be sorely missed by many.

All services will be held on Monday, November 20, ,2023 at St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street. Visitation/Reception in the church at 9:30am, followed by 10am Mass. All friends and family are invited to attend.
