Pearlie Elizabeth Neill of Winthrop formerly of Cullman, AL, passed away on November 14, 2023. She was 85 years old. Pearlie was the beloved wife of Jacqueline J. Roman. Born in Cullman, AL, Pearlie was the cherished daughter of the late Rev. Ernest E. Neill and Willie Mae (Owen) Freeman.
Prior to her retirement, Pearlie worked as a reservationist and ticket agent for National Airlines and Pan American Airlines in New York City and then for Delta Airlines in Boston.
Pearlie was the dear sister of the late Charles, Robert and Walter Neill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Alabama.
Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Friday, November 17th from 9-11AM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section).
