Brockton- Elizabeth M. Russo, (formerly Forgeron), 72, a 20 year resident of Brockton, formerly of East Bridgewater, died suddenly at the Morton Hospital in Taunton on Tuesday, June 27, 2006.
Born in Boston, she was raised in Roxbury and was a 1953 graduate of Holy Trinity High School in Roxbury.
She lived in East Bridgewater for 27 years before moving to Brockton.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Commonwealth of Mass. in the Division of Capital Asset Mgt. for 15 years, retiring in 2003.
She was a member of the Red Hatters, & Parents without Partners and enjoyed crocheting.
She was the mother of Ellen Keefe of Weymouth, Janice Scollins of Readville, Richard Forgeron Jr. of Brockton, & Stacey Quish of Raynham; sister of Thomas Russo of W. Roxbury, Mary Alice Trottier of Bridgewater, William Russo of Stoughton & the late Robert Russo. Also survived by her grandchildren, Adam, Alice, Michael John, Dylan & Sophia.
Her funeral will be held from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, on Saturday at 9 am., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Church, East Bridgewater, at 10 am. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
Visiting hours are on Friday from 4-8 pm.
