Obituary

Worcester— Beverly (Simonian) Panagian, 98, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023 in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehab Center. She leaves two sons, Peter E. and his wife Cynthia of Shrewsbury, and Barton V. and his wife Valerie of New York; a daughter, Betty Joyce of Worcester; 2 granddaughters, Michelle and Pamela; 4 great grandchildren, Aubriella, Aurora, Cameron, and Penelope; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, George "Dedo" Panagian. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Peterson of Dennis.

Beverly was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Frankian) Simonian. She dedicated her life to raising her family. She worked as a leading representative for Avon Cosmetics for over 60 years, earning President's Club and Honor Society throughout her career. She was a woman of faith and a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, cooking, and the occasional bus trip to the Casino.

Beverly had a smile that lit up the room. She loved talking to people and sharing stories. She was a great cook and enjoyed making traditional Armenian foods. She loved reminiscing and telling stories with her family and friends. Her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was always their biggest supporter and was very proud of all their achievements. Beverly is so loved and will be missed dearly.

Beverly was one of the kindest, caring, and genuine human beings many of us have been privileged to know, always willing to listen and offer her help or a word of encouragement. Even as Alzheimer's and dementia tried to rob her of her precious memories, it never changed the goodness in her soul, the sparkle in her eyes, or the love in her heart. She became sweeter and more joyful than ever.

She left this world as she lived, in peace and quiet dignity. Beverly is so loved and will be dearly missed.
