Norris L. Stephenson, 74, of Tifton, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at his residence. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Virgil Dorminey will officiate with a private burial to follow at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mr. Stephenson was born on August 21, 1931 in Tifton and was the son of Thomas Watson Stephenson and Faye Snow Stephenson, both deceased. He was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mr. Stephenson is survived by his wife, Duane Stephenson of Tifton; two brothers, Dale T. Stephenson of Tifton and C. Gary Stephenson of Tifton; nieces and nephews, Johnny Stephenson, Shawn Stephenson, Trish Stephenson, T. J. Stephenson, David Stephenson, Michael Stephenson, Gail Harris, Lisa Whiddon, Brandon Harris, Whitney Stephenson, Karen Marshall, Kristy Lipsey and Kelly Lipsey, Brian Stephenson, Jill Taylor, Tracy Hill, Chris Kostelecky, Jamie Powers, Michael Spradley, Jeff Culpepper, Timothy Cooper, Amy McDonald, Woody Robinson, Edward Robinson and Jesse Robinson; and many great great nieces and nephews.
