Dixie Louise James Lindsey, 57, of Tifton, formerly of the West Berrien Community, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. A memorial service was held for Ms. Lindsey at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2004, at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County with the Rev. Edward Hood officiating. Ms. Lindsey was laid to rest at a later date.
Born November 5, 1948, in Adel in the Doctor's Clinic, Ms. Lindsey was the daughter of the late Homer Marcus James and Mildred Ann Rowan James. She was a homemaker and former substitute teacher; and she was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County.
