Deborah Denise Heath Goodman, 41, of Brookfield passed away Thursday, May 6, 2005, at her residence. Her funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Walter Powell, the Rev. Shirley Strawder and the Rev. Willie Heath officiating. Mrs. Goodman was laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens.
Keith Rigsby, Todd Lainer, Bill McCranie, Patrick Willis, Mike Dodson and Jon Conley served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the teachers and staff of Len Lastinger Primary School in Tifton.
Born July 16, 1963, in Adel, Mrs. Goodman was the daughter of Willie Heath and his wife Mary of Nashville and Rose Sharon Heath of Tifton. She was a third-grade teacher at Len Lastinger Primary School in Tifton; and she was a member of Brookfield United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband, Michael Clay Goodman of Brookfield; two daughter, Caitlin Goodman and Sarah Goodman, both of Brookfield; two brothers, Brooks Heath and Todd Heath, both of Nashville; one sister, Reese Lainer of Nashville; and her grandparents, Kathryn Willis of Brookfield and Jack and Mae Dempsey of Alapaha.
