Joyce A. (Woodman) Johnson, 69, of Acushnet, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Edward H. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Palmer, MA daughter of the late Franklin K. Woodman and Opal M. (Flinn) Day and had resided in Acushnet for the past 30 years. Prior to retirement, she worked as a CNA at The Oaks, New Bedford. She enjoyed her many bus trips with friends from the Acushnet Council on Aging. She was a true animal lover and she enjoyed doing art projects.
Survivors along with her husband include her 3 sons: Edward H. Johnson II of Fall River, Christopher M. Johnson of New Bedford and Kyle Johnson of Fairhaven; brother: Richard L. Woodman of Attleboro; sister: Judith M. Boula of Palmer, MA; 4 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Franklin Woodman, Christine Woodman, Danny Woodman and Johnny Woodman.
