Alan C. Boyd Laferriere, 61, of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away suddenly on Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 15, 1962 in Manchester, N.H., the son of the late Alcide C. Laferriere and Rita (Blanchet) Laferriere Boyd. Alan was also predeceased by his step-father, John J. Boyd. He had been a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, formerly of Manchester, N.H. and Orlando, FL.
Alan leaves behind his daughter, Angelique M. (Boyd) Hungerford and her husband, Joshua, of PA; his son, Jesse Laferriere Wiley, of TX; two grandchildren, Eden Mae Hungerford and Kaleah Rose Wiley; two sisters, Carol (Laferriere) Phelps of Goffstown and Jeanne (Laferriere) Miley of Hampton; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by his Godparents; Patrick Casey and Arlene (Richards) Casey of Maynard, MA.
Alan was in the automotive business detailing vehicles, as well as selling them. At one time, he was a mortgage originator. He also enjoyed repairing watches and computers. Alan had a wonderful sense of humor and his kindness will not be forgotten.
Alan was honorably discharged from the United States Marines in 1984.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry.
