Faye Adcock Berkeypile, 83, of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2005, in Tifton. Her funeral service as held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Thomas Cochran officiating. Ms. Berkeypile was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Ms. Berkeypile's nephews, Neal Adcock, Jim Adcock, Rich Moore, Randy Moore, Steve Moore, Bobby Moore, David Adcock and Jay Adcock served as pallbearers.
Born May 19, 1921, in Eldorado, Ms. Berkeypile was the daughter of the late Alvin Neal Adcock, Sr. and Florence Shannon Adcock. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Faye Thompson; two brothers; and one great-grandchild.
Ms. Berkeypile was employed for many years at Adcock Pecans in Tifton; and she was a member of Eldorado Baptist Church.
Ms. Berkeypile is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Paul Kenneth and Kay G. Berkeypile of Athens; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Henry T. "Buddy" Murrow of Farmington; three brothers, A.N. Adcock, Jr. of Tifton, Donald Adcock of Eldorado and Robert Adcock of Swanee, Florida; one sister, Sara F. Moore of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren, Ches Thompson, Tamara T. Parlor, Leigh M. Murrow Knapp, Jonathan Murrow, Thomas Murrow, Allison Murrow Oesterie and Shelley Berkeypile Jason; and eight great-grandchildren.
