William Henry Brown, 63, of Tifton passed away Sunday, July 17, 2005, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Tim Mathews officiating. Mr. Brown was laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery in Tifton.
Harold Buck, Jody Aldridge, Randy Cannady, Michael Cannady, Benji Jones and Danny Willis served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Rutherford and Lynn Willis.
Born July 7, 1942, in Morehead City, North Carolina, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Willima B. Brown and Ruby Simmons Brown. He was a truck-driver; and he was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Donna Andrews Brown of Tifton' one son, Shane Brown of Albany; one daughter, Cindy Powell of Sylvester; one sister, Marie Ball of Spring Hope, North Carolina; and two grandchildren, Dustin Beaty and Lindsey Powell.
