Weeks, of Brockton, August 17, 2002, Elinor R. (Fanning) Weeks, 80 years. Wife of the late George E. Weeks.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday evening at 6 pm in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook, NH on Wednesday. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8pm. Donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Mrs. Weeks died Saturday at the Braemoor Nursing Center, Brockton after a lengthy illness. She was born in Boston a daughter of the late Michael J. and Dorothy (McGee) Fanning. She had been a resident of Brockton since 1986, previously living in Seabrook, NH and Quincy MA. She was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy. She was a homemaker, who stayed at home to raise her children. She was a former member of the Sullivan Towers Tenants Association.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda E. Charbonneau of Brockton and Eleanor A. McCalsky of Mansfield, two sons John E. Weeks of Niles, Michigan and Thomas W. Weeks of Santa Barbara, CA, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Dorothy Trubiano of Quincy, Claire Sullivan of Quincy, Joan Santos of Sandwich, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ronald Weeks and sister of the late Kathleen Publicover, Marion Dwyer, Joseph Fanning and Thomas Fanning.
