Manuella “Ella” R. (Pasquariello) Carpenito, of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness at Life Care Center of Stoneham. She was 87.
Born and raised in Boston’s West End, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Mary (Pesa) Pasquariello. After her marriage, Ella and her husband George lived in the North End before moving to Medford over 54 years ago. A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Ella enjoyed the company of family and friends and was a member of Medford’s Italian-American Senior Citizens Club.
Ella was the wife of the late George Carpenito who died in 2002 after 63 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Vincent Carpenito and his wife Patricia of Port Charlotte, FL, Louise Marotta and her husband Angelo of Medford, Louis Carpenito and his wife Jeannette of Marshfield. She was a loving grandmother to Kim, Joya, Eric, Christine, and Steven. She was a dear sister to Marianna Pasquariello, C. Agnes Bostock , Richard Pasquariello all of Everett, the late Mary Arakelian, Nicholas, Patrick, Anthony and John Pasquariello.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
