Whitney of Brockton June 25, 2006 Thomas “Tommy” Whitney 49 years. Loving husband of Susan P. (Dagesse) Whitney. Devoted father of Steven D. Whitney. Brother of Carol Ann Whitney of Palmer; George of Holbrook; Paul of FL; Janet Victoria of Easton; Linda Whitney of So. Boston; Helena Whitney of Easton; Joseph of New York and the late Mary Jane Walls and Maria Whitney. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Mass in Christ the Christ the King Parish/St. Colman Church 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton Thursday at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours are omitted. Obituary Information

Thomas Whitney 49 years of Brockton died Sunday at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston following a brief illness. He was the husband of Susan P. (Dagesse) Whitney.
Mr. Whitney was born and raised in Boston a son of the late George P. and Frances L. (Giglio) Whitney and moved with his family to Stoughton at the age of 11. He had attended Stoughton schools and for the past 20 years he had been a resident of Brockton.
At the time of his illness Mr. Whiney was employed for 20 years at Foster Southeastern Inc. in Holbrook
He was an assistant troop master for Boy Scout Troop 5 at St. Edith Stein Church. Mr. Whitney was also an outdoors person who enjoyed fishing with his son, camping, golf, skiing and sitting around his backyard fire place with family and friends
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Steven D. Whitney and seven brothers and sisters Carol Ann Whitney of Palmer; George Whitney of Holbrook; Paul Whitney of FL; Janet Victoria of Easton; Linda Whitney of South Boston; Helena Whitney of Easton, and Joseph Whitney of New York.
His mother and father-in-law Rita and Maurice Dagesse of Brockton and brothers and sisters-in-law Michael and Kim Beady of Brockton and Jared and Deborah Anderson of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Jane Walls and Maria Whitney.
