WORCESTER-Mary T. (Donohue) Sancus, 86, of 9 Dracut Street, died Sunday, June 25th in her home. Her husband Albert J. Sancus died in 1980. She leaves 2 daughters, Ann M. and her sons, Peter J. and James J. Kowalonek and Mary J. wife of Richard Ahearn and their children, Hollyann, Joshua and Nicole M., 2 very dear sisters-in-law Mary and Gerry. Her closest brother James Donahue died in 2004.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Timothy F. and Catherine (Culloty) Donohue, and at one time had been employed as a nurses aide at St. Vincent Hospital, retiring in 1950. Mrs. Sancus was a member of Our Lady of Angels Church and its senior group.
The funeral is Thursday, June 29th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 AM the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the charity of ones choice.
