Loretta “Elaine” (Gravel) Jacobs, age 86, passed away on Oct. 11, 2023. She was born on January 24, 1937 in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Loretta (Gover) Gravel. Loretta worked as a machinist for Rexnord for many years before she retired. She is predeceased by her husband Jerald Jacobs who passed away in 2020 as well as by 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is survived by 1 daughter, Julie Kenney and her husband Richard of Springfield; 3 sons, Jerald Jacobs Jr and his wife Paige of Palmer, Joseph Jacobs and his wife Linda of Agawam and Richard Jacobs and his wife Jamie of Ludlow; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; her caregiver Dot; many nieces and nephews and her beloved faithful K9 companion, Sabrina. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by committal service in the Chapel of the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
