Obituary

Mr. Anton "The" V. Cai, a resident of Andover and beloved husband of Lyle T. Le, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at his home on Wednesday afternoon, October 4, 2023. He was 77 years old.

Born in Quang Binh, Vietnam, he was the beloved son of the late Kho and Chua T. Cai. Mr. Cai was a Vietnam Veteran and a retired Director of the Vietnamese Community Center in Springfield, a job that he loved and was devoted to for many years.

In his spare time, Anton loved to garden around his home, enjoy time with his grandchildren, and always looked forward to dining out with his family and creating memories together. He was heavily involved in the Vietnamese community and helped anyone in need. He was truly “Everyone’s Dad”. Anton was a faithful and loyal friend. He will be missed by many people and was dearly loved by all.

Besides his beloved wife, Lyle, he is lovingly survived by his three daughters; Thien Anh Cai of Miramar, Florida, Thien Van Cai and her husband Matthew of Andover and Thien An Cai and her husband Andrew of East Hartford, Connecticut, brother; Billy Cai of New Jersey, grandchildren; Anabelle, Greyson "thang boy", Josephine "Sushi" and Jaeden and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral mass will be celebrated in the Holy Cross Church, 221 Plumtree Road, Springfield, MA 01118, on Saturday October 14, 2023 at 11:00am. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Andover. For additional information, please visit, www.burkemagliozzi.com.
