TEWKSBURY: Brian C. McAuliffe, age 47, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at home, following a lifelong battle with diabetes.
Born in Tewksbury on December 22, 1958, he was the son of Elinor M. (O’Loughlin) McAuliffe, who survives him of Tewksbury and the late Eugene F. McAuliffe.
Mr. McAuliffe attended the Sacred Heart School in Lowell and graduated from Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH. Following graduation, he attended Merrimack College, where he received his accounting degree in 1981.
In earlier years, he worked as the manager of Lambert’s Liquors in Methuen.
He enjoyed computer research, golfing and shooting pool.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers; Gavin A. and Kerry E. McAuliffe; two sisters; Julia A. Beckwith and Moira L. McAuliffe; two nieces; Jennifer and Mariah; two nephews; Michael and Stephen; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, Wednesday, June 28th, at 10 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. At the request of the family there are NO Calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., # 5, Boston, MA 02210 are requested.
