Francis E. Bowen, 66, of New Bedford died June 24, 2006 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Timothy F. and Mary E. (Dowd) Bowen, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Bowen was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
He was formerly employed as a meat cutter for Angelo's Supermarket until his retirement.
Mr. Bowen was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
Survivors include a brother, Edward F. Bowen, and his wife Madeline, of Acushnet; 2 sons, Timothy Bowen, and his wife Maureen, of Rochester and Patrick Bowen, and his wife Kelly, of Wrentham; a sister, Anne E. Sylvia of Middleboro; 5 grandchildren, Kylie, Zachary, Michael, Ashleigh and Averie.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Tuesday, June 27th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday, June 26th from 6-8 PM.
