Obituary

Donna M. (Lynch) Pisaturo passed away on September 21, 2023, after a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers, MA. She was 62 years old.

Donna was born in Cambridge and raised in Somerville. She attended Saint Catherine’s school, Southern Junior High and graduated from Somerville High School in 1979.

Soon after graduating she would then meet the love of her life, Joseph. They married in May of 1983, started a family and would spend the next 40 years creating some of their most beloved memories together.

Donna worked for the Department of Education as a Grants Specialist for over 20 years and made many wonderful friends along the way.

Her favorite times were spent with her family in York Beach where you could always count on Donna walking the shore or sitting in her chair just listening to the waves. The ocean was a special place to her, where she always felt the most at peace.

Her life truly became complete when she became a Nana to Anthony and Charlotte. Every possible free moment she had, she made sure she spent with them. While her time with them was brief, the amount of love she gave to them is enough to last a lifetime.

Donna was a true family-oriented woman, who always made each and every one of her nieces and nephews feel loved and special. This continued on with her great-nieces and great-nephews as well. Donna also leaves behind many cousins whom she loved and always looked forward to their annual get-togethers. She was a beloved daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, and was an adored neighbor to so many.

She is predeceased by her late father, John F Lynch III and her late mother, Joan (McAllister) Lynch.

Donna was the beloved wife of Joseph Pisaturo. She was the loving mother of Erica D’Augustine and her husband Tony and Joseph Pisaturo. Donna was the dear sister of James Lynch and his wife Barbara, Jack Lynch and his wife Kimberly, Tom Lynch and his wife Linda, Patty Melo and her husband Nelson and the late Mary Ann Lynch Guarino who she loved and missed tremendously. She was the cherished grandmother of Anthony and Charlotte D’Augustine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog Chloe.
