Nghia Huy Vu, 65, of Auburn died Thursday, September 21st in Care Dimensions Hospice, Lincoln, MA.
He leaves his wife of 30 years, Lieu Nguyen; five sons, Hung Vu and his wife, Uyen, Hiep Vu and his wife, Phuong, Sang Vu, and Hoang Vu and his wife, Ngan all of Vietnam, and Tung Vu of Auburn and his wife, Trang of Vietnam; two daughters, Nguyet Vu and her husband, Nghia Nguyen of Vietnam, and Nhi Nguyen and her husband, Christopher Basiul of Auburn; and nine grandchildren.
Nghia immigrated to the United States in 2014 and worked for TJ Maxx for 5 years, retiring due to illness. He was a devout member of the Catholic Church and attended services at Our Lady of Vilna Church. Nghia enjoyed working, watching YouTube, and playing with his granddaughter, Anna.
His funeral is Wednesday, September 27th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 153 Sterling Street, Worcester. Cremation will follow in Rural Cremation, 180 Grove Street, Worcester. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
