Angela L. Vitagliano, age 65 of Cambridge and Malden, MA passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.
Angela grew up in Cambridge and was from a large Italian family with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was particularly close to her cousins Virginia Balordi, Louise Allen and her husband Bill, and their children Amy, Mary and spouses Joe and Joseph, and their children Sidney, Emma, Joseph and Sully.
Angela was outgoing and friendly with a great sense of humor. She will be missed greatly by all of her friends, in particular her lifelong friend Teresa Cosenza and her husband Richard, and her sister Lisa Valente and their children Anthony and daughter Serena who is Angela’s godchild.
Angela worked for many years at Cambridge Trust Bank and was a beloved member of their organization.
Angela was the beloved sister of Frank Vitagliano and his wife Jane and their daughter Jillian. She was the daughter of the late Francisco and Julia (Balordi) Vitagliano.
Funeral from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday September 23rd at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
