Phyllis I. (Donovan) Glazier of Saugus passed away on September 16, 2023. She was 92 years old. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late William Donovan and Frances Theresa (Hoey) Vincent.
Phyllis was the devoted mother of Robert T. Glazier and his wife Pastora of Huevar del Algarafe, Spain, Dianne T. Burns of Ayer and the late William M. Glazier and James E. Glazier. Phyllis was the adored grandmother of 7 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 2 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of the late William J. Donovan, Hellen Murray, Inez Green, Elizabeth Roberson, Nancy Curran and Pauline Vincent. Phyllis was also survived my many nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late David Glazier.
Phyllis’s funeral will be from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, on Thursday, September 21, at 9AM, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church (St. Michaels Parish)-Winthrop at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery-(Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept 20th from 4-8AM.
