Heriberto Cruz Santana, age 61 of Springfield, passed away on September 12, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1962 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, son of the late Agapito Cruz and Providencia Santana. He worked as a butcher for many years before he retired. He is survived by 1 son, Heriberto “Tito” Cruz Jr of Ludlow; 2 daughters, Yajaira Cruz and Erika Cruz of Springfield; 1 brother Agapito “Gapio” Cruz of Springfield; 4 sisters, Maria Cruz of Springfield, “Charo” Cruz of Puerto Rico, Zoraida Cruz of Springfield and Elvira Cruz of Springfield. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, Mia, Sophia, Abel and Noah along with many nieces and nephews and friends. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home followed by an In house prayer service at 10:00.
