Obituary

WEBSTER_ Robert D. Dupre, 78, of Webster and formerly of Northbridge died in his home with his family on Monday, September 4, 2023. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Lorraine (Kwiatkowski) Dupre. He also leaves his children, Ryan Dupre of Clinton, and Andrea Dupre and her fiancée Walter Hewett of Webster; grandchildren, Trevor Dupre and Kylie Dupre of Hopedale; brother, Alfonse Dupre of Woonsocket, RI; sisters Roxanne Dupre Arena and Timberly Ortega, both of Milford, Haleigh Rose Dupre of Hoboken NJ; nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester a son of the late Alfonse F. and Evelyn D. (Gay) Dupre.
Mr. Dupre owned and operated Blackstone Valley Driving School for over forty years prior to retiring. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and continued his service with the Army National Guard for ten years. The perpetual fan, he not only attended his children sporting events but all community sporting events for many years. He was an avid gardener having an extreme collection of hostas, always willing to share. But of all his interests, visiting with his grandchildren was his joy.
