Obituary

SUTTON___Robert F. Cosky, 76, of Uxbridge Rd., formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday June 20 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave North, Worcester.

He leaves a son, Albert F. Cosky of Worcester; a daughter, Mary Lou Rogers and her husband Jim of Phoenix, Az., his companion, Joan Dickinson with whom he lived, three grandchildren, Allison Rogers, Patrick Rogers and Nicholas Rogers, nephews and nieces and his former wife, E. Barbara (Olson) Cosky. He was born in New Haven, Ct., a son of Ralph L. and Mary (Asselta) Cosky and lived many years in Worcester and several years here. He was educated in Worcester schools.

Mr. Cosky was a truck driver 34 years for various area trucking company’s including E. L. Dauphinais Co., of Grafton from which he retired in 1990. He was a Marine Corps veteran and served as a Corporal during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Stephen’s Church in Worcester and was a fourth degree member of Pope John XXIII Council Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of Teamsters Union Local 170 and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Robert loved fishing, gardening, his waterfall and baseball.

The funeral will be held on Saturday June 24 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday June 24 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
