Michael A. Major 43 of 182 Grand St. died Tuesday at home. He was born in Pawtucket a son of James and Rita (Lemoine) Major of Manville. Mr. Major was an automechanic for N. Smithfield Auto for over three year before retiring due to illness.
Besides his parents he leaves two daughters Nicole Major of Woonsocket, and Danielle Badeau of Quebec, Canada, two brothers Mark Major of Cumberland and James Major of Plainville, MA, a sister Debra Roy of Lincoln and one grandson.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. James Church, Division St. in Manville. Burial will be held in St. James Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday 5-8 pm.
