Kathleen “Kitty” E. (O’Meara) Enokian, of Brockton, passed away suddenly on August 28, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Kathy was born in Boston and raised in Hull. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Hinchey) O’Meara. Kathy married her husband, Vaughan Enokian Sr. in the summer of 1967, and the two later settled in Brockton, where they raised their loving family.
A graduate of Dorchester High School, Kathy also earned an associate degree from Massasoit Community College. For several years she had been employed as an agent with Prestige Insurance.
Kathy’s most cherished times were spent at the beach with her family. She always looked forward to her summers in Humarock. Kathy loved reading, knitting, playing cards and spending time with her beloved dog. She will be remembered as a fun and witty woman with a great and sarcastic sense of humor. She loved to make people laugh, right up to the very end. Above all, Kathy was an incredibly thoughtful and caring woman. Her presence will be sorely missed by all.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Vaughan Enokian Sr. She was the devoted mother of her loving children, Vaughan Enokian Jr. and his wife Katie, of Stoughton and her daughter Yvette Enokian. Kathy was also loved by her grandchildren, Jakob, Jacquelyn, Brooke and Paige. She was the adored aunt of many nieces and nephews and will be missed by many friends and cousins. Kathy is predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Loretta Amoroso.
Visiting hours will be at the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Saturday September 2, 2023 from 9-11 am followed by a funeral service.
