Elizabeth A. "Beth" Easterly, 75, of Westport, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Edwin F. Horky, Jr., they shared 44 years of marriage.
Mrs. Easterly was born in Boston, daughter of the late Charles F. and Gertrude O. (Devlin) Easterly and had resided in Westport since 1985. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, concentration in English and went on to attain her Master's of Arts degree from George Washington University. Prior to retirement, she was the head choreographer and owner of the professional modern dance company, Current Dance Company, based in Westport. Her love and talent for dance was often recognized by many area newspapers.
Survivors along with her husband include her brother: Charles Easterly; along with many cousins.
She was the sister of the late David Easterly.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
