Obituary

WORCESTER-Albert F. Morris, 85, formerly of Kendig Street, died Wednesday, June 21st in UMass-Memorial Medical Center. His wife of 54 years, Loretta F. (Passie) Morris died in 1999. He leaves a daughter, Susan F., wife of Kenneth Skonieczny of Worcester, a brother Thomas Morris, of Hubbardston, 3 sisters, Mary Breeds and Kathleen Sciaraffa both of Worcester and Teresa Feeley of Agawam, 3 grandchildren, Jason, Sara and Lauren Skonieczny and many nephews and nieces. 2 brothers John and Joseph Morris predeceased him

Mr. Morris was born in Worcester, the son of Joseph B. and Nora T. (Qualey) Morris and was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. He had worked for Commonwealth Gas Company as a serviceman and retired as foreman in 1985. Mr. Morris was a World War II Coast Guard veteran and served on the USS Menges. He was a member of North American Martyrs Church and the Greendale Retired Men’s Club, and enjoyed golf, bowling crossword puzzles and dining at “The Pic”.

The funeral is Saturday, June 24th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 8:00 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, June 23rd from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, MA 01501.
