Nancy (DiBiase) Nugent, age 89, of Medford passed away on Friday, August 18th, at Life Care Center of Stoneham. Born and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Nunziata (Salvitti) DiBiase. Nancy moved to Medford after marriage and was employed for many years at Cambridge Screw Company. She loved doing needlepoint, crochet and knitting for her family, as well as pottery.
Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. “Buddy” Nugent. She was the dear sister of the late Mary Morris and her husband Joe, Pat Mitchell and her husband Bob, Danny DiBiase and his wife Mary, and Rocco DiBiase and his wife Dolores. Nancy was the loving aunt of Diana Root, Kenny Morris and his wife Ann, Lorraine Martins, Nancy Ciccariello and her husband Patsy, Robert Mitchell and his wife Paula, Joe Mitchell and his wife Laurie, Susan Luongo, William DiBiase and his wife Arlene, Sheryl Whelan and her husband Vinnie, Lynn Sorey and her husband Eddie, and the late Joe Morris, Paul Mitchell and Dennis Mitchell. She is survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Wednesday, August 23rd at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 8:30 through 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
